Now you can all point out my mistakes, for there is always at least one.
I briefly entertained the thought of holding this list hostage until everyone who received a gift had commented on their entry, however, that's hardly fair to the 98% who did, so.... but really? C'mon guys. You know who you are. Something was created specifically for you, tailored to your likes and wants - please acknowledge it.
Thank you to everyone who has participated over the years - be it as artist, author, co-mod, proofreader, or reader/reviewer.
Everything will remain on the journal as is - nothing is going away. I have entertained the idea of cross-posting everything to Dreamwidth, which would be a rather large undertaking, but with LJ being....well, LJ, it's something that I am seriously considering.
That's it, folks. It's been grand.

I can see that as reveals day draws near (tomorrow!) that folks are catching up on reading....reviews are still coming into our email at a pretty steady clip.
Please make sure that you have acknowledged your gift! Don't be that person.
I will post the master list on Monday evening, at which point all participants are free to cross-post and upload to archives. Artists, if you would like your pieces to be re-uploaded with your signature, please email them to the mod account.

So. I fucked up. I fucked up pretty big. And I come asking for help to make things right.
annafugazzi participated in this year's fest, and did not get a gift. Her original gifter dropped out, and in the sea of dropouts we had this year, I overlooked her on the list of people who needed a replacement gift...and didn't find out until yesterday. In all of my spreadsheets and triple-checking that everyone who submitted got on the schedule, it didn't occur to me that I would forget or overlook something so important.
annafugazzi insists that she does not need anything. I, however, cannot accept that. I feel about two inches tall at the moment at committing such a major cock-up, and am asking for help in making things right.
You all know
annafugazzi, yes? Author of one of the H/D classics, Bond? A fic that is a staple in H/D fandom? Not to mention Volunteers, Ember to Ember, & And I'll Tell You No Lies? Of course you all know her. I cannot let her go without a gift, no matter how late.
I'mBEGGING asking those who are so inclined to write or draw a little something (<--- link to her sign-up) for our
annafugazzi that she would like, and drop it in comments below between now and reveals day on the 14th. A drabble, a ficlet, a doodle, a fanvid...anything and everything. I'm working on something myself, but in my insanely limited time right now I know it will not even come close to being enough, ergo I come to you, my fellow creators.
Please.
You all know
I'm
Please.

So that's that. The final year done.
Thank you to all of the participants who came through for us, and especially to those of you who filled in for those who either disappeared or had to drop out -
marianna_merlo,
raitala,
dysonrules,
oldenuf2nb,
jad, and
stellamoon.
This was an especially challenging year for several reasons, but all of you who were affected were wonderfully flexible, and for that I cannot thank you enough. You know who you are.
Reveals will be on January 14th. Please use this two weeks when everyone is still anonymous to catch up on reading and commenting now that the holidays are over!
Cheers - and have a happy and safe New Year!

Mod Note: This is the final submission being posted to this comm. I cannot think of a better send-off to say goodbye to the fest. I adore this artist who has participated for so many years, and this is easily one of my favourite submissions throughout our entire run. I hope you all love it as much as I do. --

Summary: Draco makes shoes. Or, well, at least he would have done, except they started making themselves, and really, that was quite odd, if he thought about it.

Epilogue compliant? Not in the least.
Word Count: ~14.5k
Author's Notes: Thanks to the mods for the countless hours they spend bringing this fest to life year after year. (And thanks for the gracious extension!)
Thanks also to my prereaders, beta, and Brit-picker. You are a talented group of women and I'd be a complete mess without you.
And now, Dear
hdwriter, I hope you enjoy this rendition of a little holiday tale, which was first spun long ago by the timeless Brothers Grimm...

Title: A Young Radical’s Guide to Love
Pairing(s): Harry/Draco, Ron/Hermione, Luna/Neville, Ginny/Dean, George/Angelina
Summary: Memories of the war are still fresh, which is all the excuse Decent People need to do appalling things. In this quietly waged conflict, Draco Malfoy is happy to be on the right side of things for once, and even happier to find he’s not alone.
Rating: PG

Epilogue compliant? No. Set shortly after the end of the Second Voldemort War.
Word Count: 66,000
Author's Notes: It is not possible that there has ever been a fest with better mods than this one. Many thanks for your years of hard work and I hope that next Christmas you are beset only by vouchers for foot massages delivered by people of your choice of gender with the physiques of Olympic divers. *Mod
taradiane would be content with Tom Hiddleston dropping by for tea and conversation. Mod
dysonrules will take the aforementioned Olympic divers, but would request that they wear hoodies. Only hoodies.
cassie_black12, you have always been such a stalwart bastion of kindness and enthusiasm in fandom. Thank you! This is less one of your prompts than two of them smooshed together with bits of the third sprinkled. I should have stopped reading at the first one!
Thanks, also, to my beta J, who is the patientest and kindest! Truly a gem! And also to R for her spot-on points of ‘More here!’ and her advice and criticism, which was as incisive and invaluable as ever (as well allowing me to shamelessly steal a couple of her lines), and to T, T and L for their shouting at me to finish. All remaining mistakes are my own fault entirely.
And for the trainspotters amongst us, this story is set in 2000, during the St Pancras Upgrade, while the Eurostar was still leaving from Waterloo International, which is nowhere near as sexy as the new station!
