That was just lovely. I loved the thought of Harry apologizing to Draco in the hospital wing in 6th year, and then the parallel of Draco apologizing to Harry in St. Mungo's.

Great story, and an interesting take on what could have happened after the battle of Hogwarts. I was impressed with the way Draco handled himself.

I loved it, I want to think that something like that happened after the Battle of Hogwarts. Great story!

Aw, I loved it! Draco's and Harry's relationship developed so beautifully. Loved Harry not really losing hope in Draco. Great story!

Oh my gosh! I absolutely love how you weaved canon so well with your fic. I mean it fit in there so perfectly. The way you wrote Harry and Draco was so spot...even the Narcissa's characterization was awesome! I can't wait to know who you are mysterious author.

I loved reading this. Draco's POV was just brilliant, and I loved how canon was weaved in with such skill. The development of Draco's feeling was so well done. Also I very much enjoyed identifying the books from Draco's descriptions (I have a couple of candidates for the unmarried sisters - Austen or Chekhov?!).

I really enjoyed this. From the organic flow of the three acts one into the other to the way that Draco seemed almost fatalistic about his own life once on his mission, but would do whatever he could to protect Narcissa and Harry, it was a really satisfying read that worked really well as a story. So many lovely little touches, including the authentic pragmatism of Charlie, Bill and Minerva, and Harry's unfocussed mourning when he thinks Draco is dead. And I love the fact there is no Miraculous Hospital Sex! Having had a few big accidents myself, it's the last thing you want at that point. A fortnight or so later is much more likely ;-)

So, so lovely. I loved reading Draco's post-Battle reactions and thoughts. They felt so plausible. I loved how he struggled to do the right thing, loved how he wanted to be brave.

Draco's developing feelings for Harry were beautifully shown. And Harry! ♥ He was so very Harry.

Gorgeous story! ♥

I love how canon the characters are. And Charlie! I have such a soft spot for Charlie, I don't even know why. Also Harry post war is exactly how I pictured him to be.

This was posted mere seconds after I decided it was well past the time to go to bed - but I thought "what is the harm of reading the first few paragraphs?" Much harm - I couldn't stop reading and was up much later than I intended to finish it. I loved the bedside confessions. The acceptance and moving on. Draco not wanting to kiss Harry whilst disguised. All so very good - I think my favorite part of it is the post-battle weariness that you described. It captured those immediate moments after the fall of Voldemort so perfectly, probably the best that I have ever read.

Well. done.

*big happy sigh*

This is wonderful. Mistaken identity and forced proximity and Draco fumbling to redeem himself all in one, and done with such a loving, in character, canon feel - I am a happy camper. Draco and his desire to be brave was heartbreaking and perfect. His relationship with Narcissa was done particularly beautifully and I couldn't get enough of it; him calling her "mummy," and wanting to be as brave as her, and that whole scene...♥ ♥ ♥ I had to push my laptop to the side and put my face in my hands.

There are just so many little things in this fic I loved! Draco thinking about Tonks and how he wanted to be a metamorphmagus as a child. The bedside confessions. The muggle books. Harry's confused rage over Draco's supposed betrayal, and his confused mourning over Draco's supposed death - sigh, so good and so Harry, like everything about him in this fic. I loved him reminiscing about Weasley Is Our King.

My only complaint about this fic is I didn't want it to end! I could have read on for ages. ♥

Awwww - loved the story! I loved your Harry! I thought you balanced Canon-Harry and Sex-Appeal Harry very well!!!

I quite enjoyed this. Everyone’s characterization was believable. I am left wondering why Kingsley and McGonagall didn’t tell Harry about Draco to begin with. Draco wanting to be brave makes perfect sense. I’m glad he got his chance.

I love this! Really great plot right after the better, and I'm really glad Draco chose to redeem himself. Great characterisations and a had a magnificent way of showing Draco's gradual and growing feelings for Harry. Just really glad that Harry was able to really see Draco for who he was at the end. Nicely done!

I love how carefully you wove canon through through the beginning of this; it gave the characters a very strong base for all that was to come. Lovely story. I enjoyed! Thank you!

[spoileryish]"He pressed their palms together, feeling how the curves of their life and heart lines corresponded."

What a lovely line. This whole fic was really a joy to read, particularly their apologies.

This was a really nice take on an Old School classic theme. I liked how you presented Draco's desire to redeem himself as something that he himself couldn't at first understand or articulate. His mother's acceptance of what he needed to do was powerful too. I also really liked how you conveyed the awkwardness of his situation with Harry, how he knew who Harry was while Harry remained ignorant. This made Draco's need to push him away make total sense. A lovely story - thank you!

That was so, so good!

I loved the language you used, it fits the story perfectly at this moment in time. The way you described the emotions at the beginning, with the battle having just ended was amazing. I loved the "deleted" scene. I believe in my heart it happened, I believe Harry would do something like this and say the things you wrote. I loved it.

I loved your Draco. I loved how he couldn't bring himself to deceive Harry into kissing someone else, but he also remained true to his word to the Order and kept his secret. It was incredible.

That kiss was perfection. The breathing, the small laugh, the cough, the hands, the stubble, everything in the description of it was so very well done.

And then there are million other details I loved, the books, the clock, Harry's attempts to Apparating, Charlie and McGonagall (! I loved how you wrote her)... I could go on and on.

I loved this. :)

Oh, this is stunning! Such a compelling plot! Draco fumbling to atone for his past choices, his desire to be brave and to do the right thing, forced Drarry proximity, the canon feel in everything.... oh, be still my heart. I'm so happy I could burst! Your Draco is perfect in an imperfect way which is brilliant! His relationship with Narcissa, particularly the scene with Draco hugging her and calling her "mummy" had me gasping with.... omg, all the feels! I love that despite all the animosity, Harry still cared enough for Draco to feel hurt and betrayed over Draco's supposed betrayal.... and then Draco's supposed death. Harry's so Harry and so amazing! I love everything about this fic, but most of all I love Harry's heartfelt apology to Draco after the Sectumsempra incident and later on, Harry being put in a similar situation, but this time it's Draco apologising to him. I love the 'tone' you used from beginning to the end, written in Draco's voice but so heartfelt and moving. Brilliant work!

My only complaint is I didn't want the story to end! *pouts*

This was terribly lovely. One of my favourites of the fest stories I've read so far. I don't think I've read anything that deals so well with the direct aftermath of Voldemort's death - this was so quiet, and thoughtful, and subtle in its perfection.

I loved the slow build of the relationship, and how Draco wouldn't let Harry kiss him, and what a good person that showed him to be.

It was all lovely, and I would love to read more of it. Thank you for writing this! ♥
