Author's Notes: Hello ile_o! May this serve as a warning that, since you asked for “UNICORNS!!!”, I gave you unicorns. Probably in all caps with a few extra exclamation points, too. There’s also plenty of plot – what began as a 10,000 story became a 20,000 monster (in the best of ways). I do hope you like it! Thanks must go out to D, A, and K, who were the best of cheer!readers. Even more thanks to taradiane with her super!beta and the other mods of HD_hols - you all are the most wonderful! Happiest of Christmases to a talented artist in our fandom!

**Mod note: This was originally posted with the file name pointing to the wrong recipient. *facepalm* The fic was correct, just the file name was wrong (as they're all named as 'for_recipient.html'). It has since been renamed, but if you had it bookmarked under that wrong name, it will no longer work for you. Just FYI. I apologize for the error!

I am so in love with this story I can hardly contain myself! The setting, the characterizations, the idea of Harry falling in love with an Obliviated Draco... everything about this was perfection, including the touch of Christmas magic at the end. Beautiful writing from start to finish! <33333

I loved this! It read rather like a fable to me - something that should be passed down by children of each generation. The tree house was charming, and the unicorns were just wonderful - especially when the herd appeared to accept Georgey into their midst. The midnight drifting - all of it was just lovely, and I was so, so happy with the ending!

I'll admit that the unicorns made me nervous to read--I really wasn't sure what we were dealing with here :)

But I think this is one of my very fave fics of the fest, so far. I absolutely love the way they got together. I'm glad Draco didn't fight it all just to be a petulant brat and that he let Harry back in after that month. I also like that they both recognized there was something between them even back at Hogwarts. I'm curious about what the situation would have been like if it had gone the other way... if Harry had been the one without his memory.

The fat little unicorn was THE CUTEST. Aww. There's this t-shirt from Woot called "Fat Unicorn" -- this is totally how I envisioned little Georgey.

(I might have cried a little when the herd accepted him :')

I was so into it that I didn't even notice the scroll bar getting smaller, and I'm usually very aware of that. It was just suddenly DONE. Boo. I'd have read another 100k of this, easily. Even more, really.

So great. Thank you so much for writing and gifting!!

Sigh. I love this story. The idea of Draco Obliviating himself after the war breaks my heart, but he ended up in such a lovely place. Fiona was wonderful and I adore Georgey the little unicorn. This is Draco as I always want him to be, so thank you for sharing this delightful little story.

Oh this was such a lovely story! I love the world you've opened up here, love how much Draco is still like himself even without his memories, love the reimagining of the unicorn lore and the few glimpses we got of what life is like at the S.U.R.L.Y. And that cabin Harry stayed it, that was just awesome. (I want to visit! Though without the alarm charm please!). The story slowly unfolded and I just sank into it with all of the rich details. It was really an enjoyable read. And I love Gregory. He stole the show. :D

i really enjoyed this story. i especially enjoyed all the little details you added to the story, like harry's fabulous tree house, georgy the unicorn, S.U.R.L.Y (lol!), the midnight drifts, etc. it was really wonderful to spend some hours in the world you created, and, of course, you gave everyone a happy ending :)

This was such a gorgeous fic that it's made me incoherent.
It made me cry and laugh and "awww" at my computer screen. :)

Unicorns. Draco with dark hair. Fluff that isn't really fluff. I got all dreamy over this fic. Loved the way Malfoy morphed into Phoenix and then into Draco and Harry loved all three of them :-) And the slow, unusual happy ending... *happy sigh and sappy grin*

Great story! I loved the slow-building romance and, like Harry, I fell in love with Phoenix, who was so much not-Draco but still very-Draco.

Well this was absolutely delightful. I didn't know what to expect with Unicorns involved but it was not this lovely story. I really enjoyed Draco having a blank slate with Harry and your original characters were great, Georgey was darling, and I loved Harry's holiday tree house. Just a wonderful read.
