I think my favorite thing about this fic is all the stuff it doesn't explicitly say, and yet it's all there. There is a really deep darkness in the fic that never quite gets to bubble to the surface. I have the feeling I'll be thinking about this story for a while. This comment may seem a little ambiguous, too, so I should make it very clear that I thought this was fantastic! ♥

This story is so intriguing. I'm not normally bothered by infidelity fics, though I'm not particularly fond of them either, but in this it really seems as though Harry needs both Ginny and Draco. I sort of feel bad for Ginny, but I don't think Harry really loves her any less than he did before the affair began. And I'm not sure that he really loves Draco, so much as he needs him. I love the fact that you say the affair begins on a Thursday, even when there's no more physical contact between them than just the touching of their hands. But that was when it started, to be sure!

Interesting story, and I can only hope that Harry/Draco never get found out, because I don't think Ginny would understand as well as the rest of us do, LOL.

re: Riches and Wonders
What I love most about this story is how angst-free it is, and how it avoids all teenage melodrama. These are adult people, trying to build a workable life around what they like and with the people they love. There is something whole-heartedly refreshing about how this story parts idealising romantic love from sex, and makes it work. Your descriptions of Harry's continuing sexual relationship with Ginny, and Draco's discovery that he and Astoria are growing closer as friends are so telling. I am pretty sure Draco went to Paris that first time to indulge in gay sex without being recognised and outed. His happiness was wonderful to see, as was Harry's discovery of another side of his sexuality. And Harry wearing Draco's chemise to finally be able to take charge and fill his position in the Ministry was awesome. This is a complex, a mature portrayal of H/D that one rarely sees in fandom. Kudos for writing this. A Most Happy New Year to you.

I enjoyed this. As others have said, it was a unique take on the infidelity theme, and it worked quite well. Nicely done!

infidelity is so not my thing and yet you managed to write it in a way where no one gets hurt and yet it's realistic and adult.
Well done!

This was utterly delicious! There was something very fresh about reading an infidelity fic with so little angst. Actually loved Harry here, very ambiguous, very Slytherin. And yeah, no wonder Harry and Draco are still going strong after five years. ;) Also, the matchmaking!dragon door-knocker was ♥ Well done!

I admit I don't really flock to infidelity fics (they always leave me feeling guilty, maybe they're supposed to?) But whatever, I have to say that even though it did make me feel guilty (even if Harry did not) it was a really well written had wonderful characterizations and was overall an enjoyable story. I guess if anyone deserves to have his cake and eat it too it's Harry Potter ;-)

This was so incredibly well done. Such a fascinating way to show the the affair in such a simple, excusable? way. You made them happier, healthier, better people for their affair and somehow no one got hurt. The reader is left content with the non-resolution. Well crafted.

Gosh, I really, really enjoy infidelity.
Love this.

Exquisite! I loved your sparse, minimalist style that actually says so much between the lines. Subtle, but so powerfully full and never taking the reader where she is unable or unwilling to go. The intensity just smolders beneath this matter-of-fact exterior.

I certainly can't advocate or condone infidelity, but it sort of fascinates me. I assume that the wives knew or perhaps have their own dalliances going on individually. At the point in time when we leave the story, no harm has been done. Harry's life is better in so many ways. He feels alive, he has taken back his power.

And then there is that nod on the platform at Kings Cross after which they simply.....carry on. Just an exceedingly compelling story.

Well done, I loved the dragon knocker especially. Harry seemed so much older than his years in all his resigned despair. His affair with Draco seemed to make his work life and his home life bearable, and even enhanced it, like he'd escaped a trap. Not sure if that's what you were trying to say, but you narrated the whole progress of the affair with ruthless believability, and the hints at the end that Astoria and Ginny were not exactly in the dark were spectacular. Very different, very good fic.

This was a very well done fic of a situation that is difficult to read. I don't really like infidelity fic, but this is was very good.

This was very interesting. An infidelity story that showed how something that was once this forbidden thrill becomes the routine. There wasn't the big, messy drama or the tragedy of it all, just this kind of... normalcy, which was sort of tragic and beautiful and strange. I loved all the visuals and how it was about physicality, but so, so not, and that all the things that made up Harry should have not fit together, but they did. Draco and Astoria's relationship was perfect, and so was Harry's with Ginny. The children were wonderful too-- young and innocent, but with that quirky solemnity that children get. It was actually rather reminiscent of Briony in McEwan's "Atonement." I don't know. All of this was just very, very interesting, and so enjoyable. It ended at just the right bit for it too. Really strong piece. I feel like I'm being a bit pedantic about it, but I did utterly adore it.

This was fantastic... the affair it was so removed yet not at the same time. I don't know but it was sort of haunting in a way. Great fic! :)
