I started this, only intending to read a little bit before I went to work and I found myself not being able to stop reading. Now I'm leaving this comment with just enough time to hurry up out the door and get to work! Time flew by while reading it.

Great job, mystery author.

I couldn't stop reading! All of it was so good. The magic running through the different locations, Harry's internal conflict over their relationship, the way he throws himself into his work after Draco makes it clear he wants nothing to do with him, the way Draco has no intention of making it easy for him, Draco's returning snark that Harry seems to love anyway, everything. I just want to read everything you've written, now. :)

Spoilers!

This was great! I love how Draco changed, even though he hadn't really been there, so to speak! You did a really amazing job of describing the scenery, as well, I felt really transported! Thanks!

Thanks! So glad you enjoyed Draco's transformation. I like to play around with the idea of who a person might have been, had they grown up with the influences they had. And OMG, Skye is sooooooo beautiful! :)

Eeeee, thank you! This was charming from start to finish, and I adore you for fitting in so many of the things I love (oh, there is still far, far too little Dark Mark licking in this fandom!). I really, really enjoyed the setting and the way it created a sort of otherworldly aura. The slow-burning attraction between Harry and Draco was delicious to behold (I may have cheered aloud when Draco kissed Harry the first time :D), and I'm glad that Harry was able (however tenuously) to accede to the demands of his conscience while Draco was still in the dark about their shared past--it made the resolution all the sweeter. :)

Thank you! ♥

You are very welcome, my dear. I was hoping you would enjoy the slow build-up, and I couldn't resist using Skye, after visiting the island this past summer. Besides its beauty, it just seemed so removed from everything that I thought it would be a perfect place to lose one's self. And there's a lot of magical folklore, which helps. :)

This is a great mystery story. The opening scene was awesome and gripped me from the start. I always believed that Draco didn't know, but couldn't figure out what happened. It was an interesting surprise. Harry's inner turmoil was great. Thank you for keeping him in check and not going for it. :) I loved all the magic and the places they visited on the island and how each place had a different feel to it. It was expecially interesting that Draco couldn't turn off his being magical. Despite not doing the magic, he could feel it and from Harry too.

Hee! I loved Hermione in this. You kept her in complete character by her doing this for Harry and not happy it was Malfoy. LOL

Ooh, Dark Mark kink. Yay!

One last thing, I really liked how you brought in the idea of Harry being responsible for Draco since he spoke at the trial. That was a great scene between Harry and Kingsley. :)

Thanks for such a detailed comment, hon - it definitely put a smile on my face.

Glad you enjoyed poor Harry's turmoil. Draco really was making it difficult for him to resist. ;D

I loved the magical folklore of the island, and couldn't resist playing it up - I'm glad it worked for you.

*smooches*

Really enjoyed this! I liked that both the magic of the island and Harry's magic resonated with Draco--that he could feel them. I also liked that Harry didn't sulk after Draco got angry with him; I prefer angry!Harry :) Angry Harry who does wandless magic?? Good stuff.

Very good story!! Enjoyed the whole thing.

Thanks for writing and gifting!

Thanks for reading and commenting. I imagine that the feel of magic would resonate, even if you didn't know what it was. I'm glad you liked that part of it. And yeah, I like me an angry!Harry too. ;)

Glad you enjoyed the story.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS

this was fantastic! I loved all conflicting emotions that both of them were feeling, I felt like it added to the depth of the relationship between Harry and Draco. I also loved amnesia!Draco's/Thomas' very impulsive attitude towards James but at the same time you could feel his apprehensions about being so vulnerable about his past.

And the predatory!Draco was very sexy! :)

I liked this fic very much! Especially the first scene: I really loved how you introduced it all and pulled the reader in.

I loved to see Harry's struggle with his feelings for Draco, trying to resist him and do the right thing. And I also loved Draco being all vulnerable and predatory at the same time...
