Author's Notes: OMG, when I got your prompt, novembersnow I was so pleased. And, I'll admit, a bit anxious about getting it right for you. I hope I managed to capture enough of your request, and that you enjoy the adventure this takes you on. Happy Holidays! Big thanks to W, R, R, and C, my fantabulous betas and Brit-pickers. The story wouldn't be what it is without your sage advice. ♥ And thanks to the mods for hosting, as always, a fantastic fest.

This is a great mystery story. The opening scene was awesome and gripped me from the start. I always believed that Draco didn't know, but couldn't figure out what happened. It was an interesting surprise. Harry's inner turmoil was great. Thank you for keeping him in check and not going for it. :) I loved all the magic and the places they visited on the island and how each place had a different feel to it. It was expecially interesting that Draco couldn't turn off his being magical. Despite not doing the magic, he could feel it and from Harry too.

Hee! I loved Hermione in this. You kept her in complete character by her doing this for Harry and not happy it was Malfoy. LOL

Ooh, Dark Mark kink. Yay!

One last thing, I really liked how you brought in the idea of Harry being responsible for Draco since he spoke at the trial. That was a great scene between Harry and Kingsley. :)

Thanks for such a detailed comment, hon - it definitely put a smile on my face.

Glad you enjoyed poor Harry's turmoil. Draco really was making it difficult for him to resist. ;D

I loved the magical folklore of the island, and couldn't resist playing it up - I'm glad it worked for you.
